I like to live in a kind of distant place in my mind...thus people tend to assume that I am quiet and shy or even arrogant, but I'm not. A quote that describes me perfectly is, "People who don't know me think I am quiet. People who do wish I was."

I like to keep a positive, upbeat attitude, even when times are difficult, I try to do my best to stay happy. I don't try to blame other people for my problems. I try to get along with all different types of personalities, but some people are just so difficult...for example those who think they are all "high-and-mighty" and think they are above everyone else....I got news for you..you need to wake up to the reality of things for you are no better than anybody else on this planet. No matter what your status is, you can still get hurt, you can still get sick and in the end, we will all be sharing the same home--the one beneath the earth.

I respect everyone's personal opinions and beliefs and I expect you to respect mine. I won't force you to believe in my way of thinking so don't try and force me to believe in yours. If you can do that...then we will get along just fine.

I attend college and am studying in Adapted Physical Activity which is working with people who have disabilities, both mental and physical. In Fall 2010, I will be attending another university to obtain a Master's in this field and eventually I hope to obtain a PhD. In the future, I want to start my own Recreation and Therapy Center. In it, there will be after-school programs, sports and activites (football, swimming, baseball, backpacking/camping, horseback riding etc), various forms of therapy (land-based, holistic, water and animal) and a specialized program with specialized staff that will allow children with disabilities to integrate with "normal" kids in the sports and activities. I would also like to have a program that would allow children in adoption centers to get out of the centers for a few hours a day and join in the activities instead of being cooped up all day and waiting to be adopted or fostered. To top off my Center, right in the middle of it is going to be a giant garden with beautiful flowers, plants, waterfalls and fountains with a glass ceiling where people can go and have some quiet time and just relax or meditate or whatever.

I am also a big animal lover and would like to have my own animal sanctuary...that has been a dream of mine since I was a kid and I have never lost sight of it. Though I am an animal lover, I am not a vegetarian. I do believe in the circle of life and eventually, in the end, my body will be given to the ground to feed the worms and fertilize the grass that the deer and cows live off of. I am pro animal rights but am not a hardcore animal activist...because quite frankly, some of those people have no clue what they are talking about...they just think they do. After college, I do plan on offering a year or so service to the US Humane Society.

On a random fact for an ending note...my favorite colors are between the blue and green spectrum, but I do like most all colors.
