The thing is that I often choose not to take or care for either side of your argument. Why do I want to argue who knows whats best for Tibetans anyway. It is abundantly clear that everyone thinks they know what is best. I want to hear the voice of the Tibetans themselves. I don't even care if they don't know whats best for themselves. That really should be their problem to solve shouldn't it? more Autonomy?

Humans have faults and not everyone lives by the same standards. The west never had overpopulation and now has negative population growth and is using immigration to offset it some. There is growing diversity in the west that has lead to less racism. Different societies will tend to see the importance and value of things differently because of the way that culture develops in a different environments. We are changing the way we connect in unprecedented ways our culture and values will as well. With the internet there are no borders and little reason to shoot each other so play nice. .

When you got to the part saying relating saying something like "If people want Tibet to be free, then free these parts of the world - SCOTLAND, WALES AND NORTHERN IRELAND!" Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland wanted to be united under one country, Great Britain/United Kingdom. GB/The UK isn't run by English people, its run by English, Scottish, Welsh and North Irish people. Just because the parliament and 10 Downing Street is in London, English doesn't mean that its just run by the English. Gordon Brown is Scottish, Tony Blair was born in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Sorry I just had to correct you, it just gets on my nerves when people confuse GB/the UK with England, especially when Americans get it wrong.

Sorry the quality of my comments has gone down recently. I got overly involved and didn't sleep for long periods of time and inevitably crashed. The doctors diagnosed me with bipolar. I am delusional in many ways but I attack it in a scientific way. I can't totally trust my own mind and ideas. I know the right whisper can move mountains of opposition. I am delusional enough to try it and most of the time I just end up kicking the mountain.
