Industrialization Minister Henry Kosgey has denied allegations that he did not follow procedure in the hiring of parastatal chiefs at the Kenya. Assistant Industrialization Minister Ndiritu Muriithi on Friday morning reiterated his concern at his ministers conduct in handling of the entire affair saying Kosgey did not allow due process. Tension began when Kosgey clashed with the PS over the hiring and firing of three parastatal heads in the ministry.

The Capital Markets Authority, CMA, has declined to renew the licenses of two stock-brokers, Ngenye Kariuki stockbrokers and Reliable securities. The authority has instead extended their current licenses, requiring them to meet full compliance by the end of July.
