Friends,

Some people say you should never publically discuss either politics or religion. I say if you exclude these two topics from conversations, what the hell is left to talk about?

All my life I have been immersed in music of all kinds, and particular songs have sometimes triggered vivid syntheses in me, into the visionary facets of the audio in a very immediate and powerful way.

About a year ago I discovered the inner "artist" in me after a business trip to San Francisco, new digital camera in hand. When I returned home and got back into my regular routine, I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements, and attempted my first video presentation of my pictures. This effort resulted in my debut video, "Private Visions."

For me, it was— and now will always be a terrific hobby for my discretionary time,as it combines both my love of still photograpy, music, animation, and my 25 year experience with graphic design in creating managerial and financial business presentations in my day-job.

A year and 30 films later— and after finally mastering the Internet's, YouTube, I have also discovered a wonderful, new form of expression and communication for my ideas-- Imaginings—as I now call them.

My awe of the Internet's global reach and power to communicate ideas is replenished daily. As of this writing I have a global viewership in excess of 100,000 YouTube members, subscribers, and friends, and growing daily.

As time goes on, I am finding my films-- more and more-- are taking inspiration from my own biographical experiences and current events. In the long-run, maybe this is the best "stuff" of art, and the dividing line between art and commercialism.

Besides, my shrink tells me to stick with it-— "It's good therapy and a healthy way to work out issues and conflicts."

In all this-- and for many reasons I have thankful and excited to have been able to put it all together for you. Though, wish I could find a way to make some money out of it! LOL.

My YouTube Site contains the entire catalog of NHI Films. Most are public, but some films are posted but marked "private". These films can only be accessed on YouTube with prior access rights from NHI Films.

Private videos from NHI Films usually include images and scenes of family and friends; are just too personal to share except with friends; or are too inflammatory to post publically at this time.

"Discretion is the better part of valor!"
