Number 1: the "astronaut" in your video isn't hopping, he's walking like he's on Earth. Number 2: There are sounds of rocks cracking and shuffling as he walks. There is no air on the moon, therefore you couldn't hear anything because the vibrations can't bounce off anything. Number 3: the reason we rushed to the moon was to beat the Soviets and declare ourselves champions of the space race. Soviets had similar moon programs however they failed for the most part.
