WHY MYOWNSTICKFIGURE?
Many years ago I started creating eating disorder related art work for healing purposes. I began to share it with the world and switch my focus from transgender activsim to eating disorder art, education and activism. At the time this name seemed clever considering I am an artist, androgynous and dealing with eating disorders. People began to recognize my art through my user name so I kept it. Years later, I still keep it because to me it represents creating and embracing "my own" androgynous/gender different mind, body, soul and spirit. I find stick figures to be ambiguous in nature just like me : )

I AM NOT AVAILABLE FOR EMAIL EXCHANGE. Please respect my healing space and refrain from emailing me even if you feel it's just a short note. It takes time to read emails even if I say I can't respond and when I read I feel it's rude not to respond so I get stuck in a very codependent situation. Overtime it got to the point where I started to get more emails than what is managable for me and because of this I have had to STOP email exchanges with people. I am unable to read and respond to all the emails I get and they back up my inbox. I would like my account to be as less stressful as possible, I wish you the same too! I need to focus my energy on my own healing so I can offer videos as I can make them but can't offer one on one. If I, or you, do not respect this boundary then my recovery process becomes hindered as I become codependent and careless about the boundaries I feel I need to set in order to move forward. Please support, not enable. The best way to contact me is through channel or video comments/responses. If you would like help with an activist project, research, education, etc. then please subject an email accordingly and I will let you know if I feel I can help you at that time. I truly appreciate all those who support me. Please know that if I had the time and energy to get to know everyone who has interest in getting to know me - I would. Respecting my email space is one of the best ways to support that I am trying to take care of myself first so I can be happy, healthy and here for all of you!

CHANNEL UPDATES:
June 14th 2009: Life is happening and changing in ways where I need to direct my focus to family and my ongoing recovery process. I will be less active on You Tube this month as I put my focus where it needs to be most. Be well my friends, thank you for respecting my need for space.
