Yes we are still removing the drip tape manually in the fall, but since the plastic has begun to break down by fall, pulling up the drip tape isn't hindered by the biotelo. The only problem that we have is that like any tape, plants can grow around the tape and give you a workout getting through...

An electromagnetic drill press is not required for drilling the holes. We used one so that we could ensure the holes were as strait as possible - a hand drill would have worked as well.
