You are an inspiration, in spite of being some disagreements on religion.

what the hell does pro choice have to do with socialism
jbfla2006 (13 hours ago)
The Fry and Hitchens debate was very interesting! I think Christopher Hitchens is one of the best public speakers. He may not be a fan of Ayn Rand, but he's always enlightening and entertaining.
Thanks for posting the playlist, I don't think I would have found that one on my own.

I need to vent a bit. Though I am not religious, the atheist movement is largely dominated by a bunch of pro-choice, socialist scum shits that demotivate me to help people from their religious delusions.

I wouldn't have any representation or group if it weren't for Ron Paul who I agree with much on. If it weren't for libertarian atheists, I'd have a very low hope for humanity.

MrCropper, I just re-watched your classic video "You Can and Should Study ALL the Time!". I find your points just as excellent today as I thought they were back then. Interestingly, though, your voice sounds different in that video than it does today. Back then, your tone was more tentative and your voice was higher. Even your body language was different. Nowadays, your tone is much firmer and more authoritative. It's fascinating to observe that progression. ;-)

MrCropper, it is an uber-silly stolen concept when people say that the existence of illusions -- wherein there is a disconnect between literal reality and what only appears to be a literal reality -- suggests that all perception is potentially illusory. The concept of "illusion" is derivative of the concept of "objectively real." An illusion is an appearance of objective reality, but is not objective reality. If there were no basis in believing in an objective reality, then there would be no purpose in having the concept "illusion," as the concept of "illusion" is defined by its contrast to the concept of "illusion" and derives its meaning from the veracity of the concept of "objective reality." The very fact that people are able to identify an illusion as such is predicated upon the fact that, in the long, they are capable of discerning illusion from objective truth.

"Thunderf00t is a staunch atheist who believes strongly in statism and collectivism. Ergo, one can be an atheist while still believing in irrational nonsense."

Haha! Good point.

The famous YouTube vlogger Thunderf00t is a staunch atheist who believes strongly in statism and collectivism. Ergo, one can be an atheist while still believing in irrational nonsense.

Mr. Cropper you're stretching the definition of atheism. Atheism is simply the conscious disbelief in deities. Nothing more and nothing less. You can be an atheist and believe in gnomes and gremlins (just as long as you don't believe they are gods). And there are Satanists who are atheists, and merely think of Satan as a symbol for man's nature or something like that.
