MovieFest

MovieFest was New Zealand's first nationwide digital short movie competition - now open to all in three categories of primary/intermediate schools, secondary schools and hobbyists. Entrants are given around eight weeks to make a short Movie using digital editing processes, on a given MovieFest Topic.

MovieFest Trust promotes, inspires and showcases upcoming movie-making talent in New Zealand. MovieFest 2008 is the 5th annual nationwide digital short movie competition and festival since MovieFest began in 2003.
