At Mount Manresa on Staten Island, one can see clearly, stroll a rustic landscape, and pray in the warmth of a traditional chapel. The professional retreat house staff will help you on your inner journey. Warm-hearted and well trained listeners, they welcome people struggling with spiritual questions. They bring with them their own experiences and the Jesuit tradition of spiritual wisdom, offering acceptance, encouragement, flexibility, practicality, and plenty of good humor.

More than 15,000 people come each year to Mount Manresa--some for a day or a weekend, others for week-long retreats. The benefits know no age boundaries. We offer group retreats for children, seniors, singles, the divorced and widowed. Some come for retreats designed especially for those recovering from alcoholism or other addictions.

The 65 private rooms are reserved and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Hearty food savored in an airy dining room complements the spiritual nourishment. To reserve a place, mail us a reservation with a deposit. Because of space limitations, please reserve as soon as possible. If you must cancel, early cancellations help those on the waiting list.

Mount Manresa wants always to be available when people need it most. All are welcome, even if an individual cannot give the full suggested donation. To this end, we depend on the generosity of others to help those less financially blessed.
