People who like twilight, Please help out my friend, she needs it. Watch her video; http://www.youtub...
she worked hard on it, thanks. :)
Lyrics: My gift is my song and this one's for you
And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is while you're in the world
I sat on the roof and kicked off the moss Well a few of the verses well they've got me quite cross But the sun's been quite kind while I wrote this song It's for people like you that keep it turned on
So excuse me forgetting but these things I do You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue And well the thing is what I really mean Yours are the sweetest eyes I've ever seen
And you can tell everybody this is your song It may be quite simple but now that it's done I hope you don't mind I hope you don't mind that I put down in words How wonderful life is... now you're in the world!
Please no controvery in the comments, some of us may enjoy this more than others. Keep the hate out, thanks.

Now this is the last clip of this series. This clip is featuring the whole band with the most famous number in this type of Jazz. When The Saints Go Marchin' In. Although played 1000 times before, It sound very fresh and bright. It's logical, those guys are the real ones! Besides..... it's played in G! as always with his All Stars. Armstrong and that key keeps everybody sharp!
I'm extremely happy! I've managed to get the first series of clips on YouTube. You know, I'm a YouTube watcher from the start (feb 2005), I discovered YouTube long before it was well known as nowadays. And certainly in my country the Netherlands, the hype started much later. From the beginning I wanted to share my DVD's on YouTube. Ever since I was looking for software to convert DVD into Mpeg-4 files. It was frustrated! I couldn't find anything right which was working well and simple to handle. My problem was also that I haven't had any help from anyone! But until last week, I discovered a fitting freeware program. And with much blood, sweat and tears I finally get this result!
Now my first series is about a concert from the Louis Armstrong All Stars. It was located in: La Bussola-Focette in Italy. The concert was on thursday, may 7 th 1959.
It is featuring two of my biggest idols in Jazz. Louis Armstrong and Trummy Young. Of course Louis Armstrong! I'm afraid I can't tell you anymore news about him. And then Trummy Young whom I've seen just once in person. An experience I will never forget! I could write a lot more about Trummy. But not all at once!

July 20th this year will mark the 40th anniversary of the first manned moon landing. I was in my first year of high school in 1969 when the Eagle touched down on the Sea of Tranquility, and I recall how we were all allowed the day off of school to watch, in excitement and wonder, those grainy black and white television pictures as Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot upon a world beyond our own. It seemed that everyone on the planet who had access to a t.v., was watching as Armstrong climbed tentatively down the ladder of the LEM and into history, and into a new dawn, (or so it seemed back then). 'It's one small step for Man, one giant leap for Mankind'. It was one of those moments when people all over the world were genuinely united in celebrating a remarkable achievement in the history of our species, a point Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins reflected on: 'After the flight of Apollo 11, the three of us went on a round the world trip. Wherever we went, people instead of saying, well, you Americans did it, everywhere they said - WE did it! We, humankind, we the human race...and I had never heard of people in different countries use this word we, we, we, as emphatically as we were hearing from Europeans, Asians, Africans. Wherever we went it was - we finally did it!, and I thought that was a wonderful thing; ephemeral, but wonderful'. Apollo 17 in December 1972, marked the last time, thus far, that humans have visited another world. The public interest in these things evaporated, (with the notable exception of the drama involving Apollo 13). We became blase, 'been there, done that, got the t-shirt, old news'. As a young boy, I was watching science fiction become science fact. There was the awareness as well that 'we' had taken another step in that long line of steps that began when we evolved in Africa and fanned out over the globe. It can seem like a terrible cliche to say that we are meant to do these things, driven by our very nature to explore, to understand, to push the boundaries of knowledge and of what can be done, but NOT to do these things, it seems to me, would be like clipping the wings of some magnificent bird, meant to soar. Soaring is, indeed in our nature. The video includes Armstrong's famous 'One small step' speech, as well as a very memorable comment made by Buzz Aldrin as he joined Armstrong on the surface of the moon: 'Beautiful, beautiful. Magnificent desolation'. Thanks to my friend cyyyggnus for suggesting the inclusion of these quotes. I hope you enjoy the video. I would also highly recommend the documentary film: 'In The Shadow of the Moon'.
