We are The Long gone Smiles Band - The Swedish Champions in Pure Country Music!

We in the Long gone Smiles Band are inspired by the country music of Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams. They wrote songs and performed them in their own very powerful, clear, funny, true, intellegent and sincere way. Their songs form the admirable core of the great original country music of the Past - that will live on for ever. Our name, the Long gone Smiles Band, is a tribute to Jimmie and Hank. We have their music - but we miss their smiles. In October 2006 our band was born. We do the songs of Jimmie, Hank and others and we sure will focus on the original songs and the old harmony style of singing. Michael, the lead singer, writes old style music inspired by Jimmie Rodgers and Hank Williams and on this page you will see and hear more of this stuff - sung, yodeled and played by us in the band.
