Welcome to part 25 of my Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare walkthrough on Veteran mode. (Xbox360) [I do not have Xbox live!]
--This is also where things really start to cook up.
We gotta defend ourselves while the heli comes to us at the LZ.
It's vital that you plant your claymores where you'll need it most. I like to hang around the bumper cars so I place all my claymores down where I know the enemies will pop up.
Make sure you use ALL your claymores and C4 before placing MacMillan down at his sniping spot. That way, he'll give you the rest of his C4 and Claymores so you have even more to use.
I like to place my C4 where I know I'll be heading to get Captain MacMillan later. It'll clear the way of enemies while I head over to him.
Once you plant them all, the real fun begins.
Pfft and of course I forget to use my second set of C4.
Once MacMillan signals the heli, you can see at the bottom of the screen where the radar is, that there's a counter with the heli on it. Underneath is a meter counter that'll show you the distance the heli is.
It's basically your timer. We gotta hold out till it comes.
I like to snipe my enemies down right at the back corner of the bumper cars. They always tend to go around the corner to try and get to me and that's when I take them down one by one. The claymores take care of the guys coming on the actual bumper car rides.
Since I'm pretty much covered by all the railing, it's practically impossible for the enemy to kill me. Although the occasional 'nades and flashbangs flush me out. I almost got killed so many times D: This mission took me so many tries before I got a good handle of it lol.
Anyways after holding out a bit longer the heli will arrive. That's when I trigger my C4 and kill enemies along the path I'm going to run.
I'll grab MacMillan and GET TO DA CHOPPA!
