The meaning is all on the placement of the punctuation.

Jesus wasn't building his church upon Peter. Peter was not the first pope.

The Christian church is based upon Peter's answer that Christ the Son of the living God.

The rock in this passage is Jesus Christ and the translators should have cap the word to Rock.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter. And upon this Rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matt 16:18. (changes made by me)

I ran into your "friend" bingolly today online. He (or she) lies openly and states I shared only opinion and no proof to expose him. Yet I did post the proof as well as a webpage from my site with dozens of verses with proof. But he (or she) deoeted my comment and lied about me not sending proof.

This person is a waste of time. What he or she is doing is trying to get you to hate them so that you sin in your heart..

ADD is an attention disorder, I believe our diet and TV has alot to do with this disorder. And acting rude is just that, acting rude. Dj, is lieing to you! My nephew has ADD and he is a loving and never forgetful. His attention spane is limited. Not his manners. Just thought you should know this. God is good!
