Gloria Tesch began writing her first book at the ripe age of eleven, and celebrated her thirteenth birthday with the publication of her Debut Novel, "Maradonia and the Seven Bridges." This sweeping epic journey into a fantastical world of magic and power, earned Gloria the distinction of being the world's youngest published novelist. With fourteen years she published her second novel, "Maradonia and the Gold of Ophir" and presented her third novel, "Maradonia and the Battle for the Key."
With such a young age, Gloria is able to straddle between the world of surreal adventure and the world of page-turning mainstream adventure and connects the ordinary, natural world with the supernatural world with unexpected twists and absolutely surprising results. Gloria is currently writing her fourth novel: Maradonia and the Lost Secret of Kra.
Gloria Tesch was born on April 17, 1994 in San Diego, CA. She is a natural storyteller who crafts her tales, characters and settings with talent. Everything Gloria writes, glows with imagination and many who read her books believe that Glorias imagination is never ending. One of Glorias friends wrote, Glorias new novel captivated me from the first page and did not let go until the last.
Gloria Tesch is so talented that the reader believes anything and everything is possible in the Land of Maradonia. I wonder what kind of literature this 14 year old author will produce in the coming years. Gloria answered, I dont know what the coming years will bring, but I work every dayevery weekend very, very hard, often late in the night writing my latest novel.
In a recent interview with an associated press newspaper reporter, Gloria showed her story boards and the manuscripts of her fourth novel:
Maradonia and the Lost Secret of Kra, and her fifth novel: Maradonia and the Unleashed Beast. She said, I have a pretty clear concept for at least nine books of the Maradonia Saga. Many of her readers know a new book by Gloria Tesch means only one thing:

Maradonia and the Seven Bridges is the debut novel (the first in a trilogy) by American writer Gloria Tesch from Tampa Bay, Florida, who started writing the novel at age 11. The novel, a tale featuring two teenagers and depicting the battle between good and evil, was published when she was 13. Tesch completed the second novel of the trilogy, Maradonia and the Gold of Ophir, at age 14, and is currently writing the third, Maradonia and the Battle for the Key. Still a high-school student, she has read from her work in the Tampa Bay area. Gloria Tesch, the Worlds Youngest Novelist, is becoming well-known world wide with her Maradonia saga (which will be 9 novels)
Number of chapters and pages don't mean much,
Word count tells the real length.
It means nothing to say there are 800 page when you have only around 200 words per page due to formatting.
Not to mention, of course, that word count, chapter count, page count, whatever else you can count, doesn't really matter, and looks a little bad when boasted a lot.
I'm not trying to be mean, I just know what people think about it.
Good story, good style, and proper grammar are what matters.
