Andrew Furmanczyk's Youtube Music Academy, How to Play Piano
I'm just a regular guy, who enjoys helping people out. I've been playing piano and studying music since I was 5 years old, and I am currently a Piano Teacher in real life, I have about 30 students in my studio. I wanted to make this series to help people who want to learn piano, but can't afford or don't have access to a teacher. I'm a pretty easy going guy, so hopefully you'll be entertained!

I must thank you for all the time and effort you've put into your lesson videos. I played piano when I was younger and your first few lessons have taught me so much more than my piano teacher did. Thanks for not leaving out the basics *for fear of them being too much for a beginner*. You explain things in such an easy to understand way. Thank you!

It's been a week since I started learning, and I practiced sometimes for an hour or two or sometimes just 10 minutes, but at least once a day. It wasn't hard: after I knew how to play things that "sound good" to my ears, I couldn't resist sitting down every time I got home from work. I watched through lesson #6, and that was enough to read sheet music for "Mad World", and well, now, I can play it =)
Your free lessons have given me more happiness with music than I've ever experienced in a formal setting. I cannot thank you enough! Holy hell. And to think, anyone in the whole world can do what I did =P I'm so happy I would shower you in hugs and squish the crap out of you, so it's a good thing this is all virtual. Keep on keeping on =) Peace |
