I recently found out that users can hide their subscribers count with the new channel design. So I went forth and hid it. For anyone else that's serious about trying to eliminate the prejudice against videos due to subscriber count, I recommend doing the same. Of course, it doesn't do much if you keep the "Subscribers" box visible as well.

I also changed my channel type to Director, since I shouldn't feature in any "Most subscribed" category, and eliminate all methods of finding my subscriber count. If I'm missing anything, please let me know.

I'm also trying to hide my channel views, something I never really cared for, so if anyone knows, tell me please.

I'm done with the whole notion on the worth of subscribers. Most people subscribe solely because of an already high number of subscribers, and not because of their appreciation for the videos. If you find yourself going down this path, I urge you to correct yourself. And apply the same standards to me, please. I find it rather insulting to have had 40k subscribers, yet when I release a video, only half of that number even bothers watching (unless it's a full RSMV). It just goes to show me what the value of a subscriber really is.

So if you don't want to be subscribed, unsubscribe. I honestly don't mind, as I can't even see my subscriber count anymore. I won't even know that you did.

And this may seem like "WOAH, Lucky's gone emo" kind of a blog, but it's not lol... I've never really cared for any of it, and now that I realize I can be done with it, I'm taking that opportunity. It's a good feeling. Now I can just think about enjoying RS, like I used to.

1) What programs do you use?

2) What can I do to improve my videos/subscriptions?
♦ Act professional. Use good grammar, and be proper. That means no leetspeak (unless it's plainly obvious that you're joking). This also means don't go around asking for people to subscribe. If you're good enough, they will. For your videos, watch it and critique it yourself. Look for flaws, find things people would complain about, and fix it so they don't get that opportunity. YOU should be YOUR biggest critic, not somebody else.

3) Can I be in your video, have you be in mine, or do an interview?
♦ I very rarely ask anyone who's not a friend to be in a video, and if I want them to be in it, I'll ask. Don't volunteer yourself when I'm not asking. As for being in your video, I simply don't have the time to be in every video I'm asked to be in. I help out friends, and occasionally friends of friends, but that's all. And this description is the best interview you can get, so there's no need for me to do any.

4) Can you help me edit?
♦ I get this a LOT, so please don't even ask. There are also tons of better references than me, so utilize them.

5) Can you subscribe, favorite, comment, rate, feature, promote, watch, critique my video/channel?
♦ I absolutely will not if I'm asked directly by the person wanting it. To me, that shows that they just want subscribers or fame, which video making shouldn't be about. I won't endorse that belief under any circumstances.
