Lotus Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the education, health and safety of at-risk and exploited women and children in the developing world.
Originally established in 1993 to support children's education for Tibetan refugees in India, Lotus Outreach has grown to specialize in serving those who fall outside the reach of existing government and charitable initiatives. Today, we provide education and rehabilitative services to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. We provide preventative healthcare and income-generating opportunities to isolated and impoverished communities. We advocate for access to quality education for the rural poor. We offer non-formal education and skills training to those on the margins of their societies. And we provide safe, clean sources of water to those who don't have them.
