The National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health (NLIRH) is the nations first and only national Latina health and reproductive justice organization representing an increasingly diverse and growing Latina population. NLIRHs mission is to ensure the fundamental human right to reproductive health and justice for Latinas, their families and their communities through public education, research, policy advocacy, and community mobilization. NLIRH opened its doors in 1994 as the first independent national organization and voice for Latin@s on health and reproductive rights issues. We are celebrating our 15th Anniversary this year, with a Quinceañera on October 7, 2009 at the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, DC.
