Hey there Larry. I'm new to the world of DiMarzio pickups I have seen several of your players use them, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Al Di Meola, Billy Sheehan, and the pickups sound fantastic. I play a Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Mahogany, the body is chambered out so it is very light. The current pickups are it's factory ones which I believe are Burstbuckers, so it has a lot of bite ( They have Alnico II or V, I cannot remeber). Could you recommend a bridge and neck pickup that is a fatter and more hotter? Thank you.
