Seeking truth. Avoiding deception, especially self deception, and coming to terms with distinguishing fact from fiction. Realizing that people make mistakes and to forgive leads to healing. Validation of self has to come from within. Disturbed with the violence in our world but realize it has always been. The more I learn, the more I need to learn but useless without humility.
Country: United States
Occupation: Nurse, Ex- Professional Firefigh...
Schools: Lincoln University, Temple , and...
Interests and Hobbies: What I do is of little consequence but what I am is a sensitive man in love with God and people who wonders why there is so much discourse in our world. Music, I find myself gravitating toward jazz music. I love the aspect of exploring other cultures and their music as a portal for that. I cut my teeth on funk, rock, jazz, and r&b. I enjoy classical to relax and sleep to. I haven't pursued any hobbies of note. Before marriage and family, I played college baseball and league softball for many years.I enjoy discussing world history, sports, and politics. I'm on a constant search for truth for answers. As a baby boomer, my concern for the young and their preparation for the future is paramount, and whatever I can do to encourage them will be done.
Movies and Shows: Classic film and art house features. Foreign films, Japanese Warlord/Shogun subtitled movies. Comedies, and epic features. I like feel good movies like "Mr. Holland's Opus". I like most movies that don't insult my intelligence.
Music: Old school rap, rock, funk, jazz, and r&b.
Books: Books by scholars that reflect upon real life issues

Hiroshima? You are the first person I know of to post their music--Dan Kuramoto, the sax player, started Asian-American Studies at Cal State Long Beach back in the late 60's, Black Studies being the first, then Mexican-American Studies ("Chicano Studies" sounded too scary, perhaps, for the administration). . .Keep the music coming. Again, thanks.
