These videos demonstrate a short, if not the shortest, path to obtaining MMH/MEH rank for X and Zero. Excluding the intro stage, every time X and Zero complete a level, they will go up in rank.

How does the ranking system work? Well, you are graded on 5 areas:
-stage clear time
-amount of damage taken
-amount of enemies destroyed (less is better)
-amount of Sigma/Zero virus infections (less is better)
-amount of damage given to boss (more is better).

After a few months of gripping, unshakeable failure, I managed to complete a Megaman Zero run on hard mode where I obtain 100 points on the ranking system in every stage.

This time 'round was a team tournament. 16 teams and it lasted for quite a while. The rules were the standard 3v3, ironman and character lock throughout the entire tourney.
