Kylie's North American fans will finally get a chance to experience the pop superstar live in concert when her 6-city tour kicks off in Oakland (San Francisco Bay Area) on September 30th!
Over the course of her extraordinary 20-year-career, Kylie has undertaken 8 sold-out world tours including last year's KylieX2008 tour which traveled to 21 countries throughout Europe, South America, Dubai, Asia, New Zealand and Australia, generating an estimated $70,000,000 in ticket sales. Kylie
couldn't be more excited about her first ever tour through North America.
"I've wanted to tour in America and Canada for years," admits Kylie, "I know that fans have been waiting a long time for this and I'm thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived."
Kylie's eagerly-awaited North American concert debut is being produced by Los Angeles-based concert promotion firm Bill Silva Presents (BSP).
"Kylie has such a successful career outside of North America that it has taken quite a while to find a window in her schedule for the U.S. and Canada," said Silva. "Her amazing fans in North America will be well rewarded for their patience when they experience her show and its entire spectacle. We are confident in the tour's success, and hope that Kylie will make this the first of many tours to our shores."

I didn't meet Kylie. She was in the opposite terminals at US Customs that same day. However, I took the US Passport line, Kylie could not. But maybe someday she can too, unless my Japanese girl comes first (also a Gemini). YouTube is changing everyone's page on the 15th. Hope Kylie hooks up with me very soon and finds a way to do it, she has to know what's going on now.
SHADO CONTROL
Here's another funny TRUE story about Kylie and I. Back during "X" she had to fly to LAX to film one of her music videos and would you believe her and I were in US Customs at the same time, in the same airport? TRUE! But, I flew in from Tokyo on American Airlines connecting to Boston, using in Terminal 4 US Customs. She was on Qantas or British Airways and flew into LAX Tom Bradley International US Customs, just across. From there, I hopped into the Qantas/AA Flagship Lounge onwards to Boston, Kylie posed with fans and signed autographs on the other side of security as LA was her final destination! LOL! She was sooooo close to the person who played her in the USA for the absolute first time! Just too much, I can go on forever how Kylie and I have missed each other by mere minutes. So, so close.
Hope she hooks up with me, I know what she'll say too "Everyone says they play me first in the USA". Too funny.
