Just an average pianist hoping to improve his performance ability playing anime and video game songs...

Q: How long have you been playing piano?

A: 2 years. Started August 2006. 1 year self taught, half a year taking lessons. (On going)

Q: Can you read sheet music?

A: No... I use muscle memory and memorizing most of the time.

Q: Then why do you have the sheets in front of you?

A: To make it look like I can read music. xD

Q: Why does [insert song name] contain so many mistakes and sound like trash when you play it?

A: It just does...

Q: What are you using to record you videos?

An Olympus FE-280.
A 6 x 6 cubicle room. (Very bad sound quality)
A Kawai upright Piano ^^

* Since, I'm a self taught pianist, these videos are a good way to keep track of my progress. My method of learning the piano is to play a ton of different songs (that I like) and takie whatever is useful in them and then applying it to the next song that I play. My videos are far from perfect, but I do see some improvement in my playing with each new song. I actually set goals (harder songs) for myself for motivation. Trying to learn a new song every 3 weeks also motivates me to keep learning to play the piano. ^^
