I use Sony Vegas 7.0 to make my vids, and I'm getting 8.0. Chibipaint, Photoshop(Uck), Paint, and I'm getting Paintshop which is better, to make backgrounds and such and Windows Movie Maker to record music.
Dont ask for songs right now, I'm not able to do it.
