Jung SuWon Martial Art Academy teaches a form of Tae Kwon Do in the traditional manner. "Jung SuWon" means uniting the body and mind as one in total harmony, which emphasizes our focus as not only the physical aspect of the martial arts, but also learning to control our emotions and our own mind.

The art of Jung SuWon, was founded by Great Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim, among the highest ranking masters in the world. She's an example of how martial arts should be used outside of the training floor. She is CEO and founder of Lighthouse Worldwide Solution, a prominent female figure in thousands of people's life (nationally and internationally), an author, a lecturer, a TV show hostess, a counsellor to many, and much more (www.taeyunkim.com). Through her successes and examples, she has demonstrated how a traditional martial artist can take what they have learned and taught and apply it in our daily life in the modern world.

This site is a center for the general public, and our students, to really see what Jung SuWon really is and what we have to offer.
