Tired. Famished. Memories of my dog. Poor lighting and what else I've been up to..., artwork. Trying to not get heat stroke at 3 a.m. in the morning.

Geocaching Artwork, New Cross for Cheggs, Jumano Apache, Lady in Blue, Redford Texas Judadiah - 106 views - 2 weeks ago
After a weekend at a family reunion in the Texas Panhandle, I returned to Redford to assemble a longer lasting cross to mark the resting place of my friend. It was painted blue to commemorate Maria de Agreda, The Lady in Blue, who appeared to the Jumano Apache Tribe in the sixteenth century to teach them the ways of Christianity. Subsequently, the Jumano Apaches were spared from the conquest of the Roman Catholic Spanish missionaries and remain in The Valley of the Rio Bravo, the Redford area, and other parts of the southwest to this day. In conclusion, I also thought it a good time to lay down one of my ace cards and reveal to the world one of the main motivating factors for coming to the Big Bend Desert Region. Via con Dios. (I'm hearing some bad audio quality [chirping whispers] in this video. It bugs the heck out of me but I'm unsure what went wrong in the upload. My appologies.)

The shock of rage. The sear of vengeance. The turbulent sea of man's heart swerving from side to side like the trail of a pit viper. Life is brief. Our time is but a grain of sand. Consume yourself with petty differences and watch as your children destroy each other, then destroy you. Fill your heart with the Holy Spirit, or reap the wickedness of the whirlwind forever. (End of the line for a particular collection of red earth brought hundreds of miles to a place in the desert.)

I'm a self-taught artist who grew up on farms and ranches in Floyd and Uvalde Counties in Texas. When we were bored as children, my Aunt DeLoyce would let us take her camcorder and make films. Anything was possible out there; we made westerns, horrors, post apocolyptic, action and mystery. Guess not much has changed. I also make artwork; painings and drawings.
