idk why so many people are afraid of socialism, ohh socialism im so scared, but do these people realize that there are many other things we have in the US that are all ready controlled by the gov: police, schools. the people who dont like this reform are just greedy assholes who dont care about anyone else but them self, 50 million people dont have coverage and this reform will allow them to get it, but no all of you are just pissed that the government is using your money to pay for it. A $1000 so 10 people can have health care(made of stats), sure im a nice guy take it, its a good deed. people need to learn to stop thinking about themselves and show some compassion.

Have you ever tried to get a high priced treatment in the US. and my wife used to live in Canada and her aunt had cancer. you want to know how long she waited to get treated ... oh wait she didnt. thats right and she doesnt have to worry about losing her house because she cant pay her medical bills. hmmm

You can't whitewash the fact that the USA pays over 16% of its GDP for healthcare that doesn't even cover everybody while other "socialist" "facist" countries, who happen to be our allies, pay 9% of its GDP for Japan and 4% of its GDP for Denmark. We cannot compete in the global business community with that kind of disadvantage. International businesses often opt to build factories in countries like Canada etc. because they do not want the expense of paying for the costliest healthcare system in the modern world. Most Americans don't realize they are already paying over $12,680 per year for healthcare, check your COBRA rates and look into how people who had to COBRA were financially violated by the healthcare insurance industry. It's not a pretty picture. If the USA wants to keep up with the rest of the world, it needs to end its burdensome and costly healthcare system. Otherwise America will fall behind.

The government has never ran anything right or effectively. So why in the hell do people think the government can run health care? I can tell you what they will get with government run health care....health care rationing, denial of treatment, and long waits! The top priority with government health care is to CUT COSTS! So therefore treatments will be denied!

All this crap about health insurance companies denying treatments is crap! I don't ANYONE who has problems with their health insurance! I have never been denied treatments! Most insurance companies will deny any type of "cosmetic" type stuff, but not medical. So all of you who are griping about insurance companies being "greedy" or deny treatments is lying. I bet they don't even have insurance and are playing the Nancy Pelosi anti-insurance card and want US to pay their health care!
