In 'today's economy' Geographers are even more employable and the statistics show this. In the UK (can't speak for the USA or other areas), Geography graduates still have the highest percentage getting jobs (within 12 months) after leaving university. Thanks for the thumbs up ('nice vid') - not sure why the phrase 'Geography Matters' should irritate. It sums up the whole point of the video - young people need to have some basic knowledge of what is going on in the world - what E.D. Hirsch calls 'core knowledge'. You could always suggest a new ...
