I admire your courage telling your story the way you have on NTV. I lived in St. John's for a number of years and can say that Newfoundlanders are very accepting of GLBT people regardless of how big or small the town. Great place!

I saw part of the NTV, news and think that you are very courageous, I think that you should continue doing what you're doing. I have a family member who is trans gender and in the process of making the change from male to female, forgive me if I don't always use the correct terms, feel free to correct me. Rhaina is my sister and is so angry with work that she now is blaming her family for not being supportive that is not true, my dad may not call her but my mom and I have always had contact, Rhaina has changed in many ways, even personality to a certain extent, we have adjustment too, I was very hurt with her blog stating to everyone that her family isn't supportive and when I called her on it, she now wants nothing to do with me, she has cut me off. I wish you the best of best wishes in your future.
