I'm Jake Haldenwang and I am a 13-yr-old electric blues guitarist. I've been playing for about 2 1/2 years now. When I was 11, I saved my money for a year and my parents chipped in the rest, for promoting to middle school,so I could buy my first guitar. I learned to play by listening and practicing to every blues/rock CD that I could. At age 12, I started to perform live. I love all the guitar greats but, I am mostly inspired by, Johnny Winter, Rory Gallagar, SRV, Joe Bonamassa, Derek Trucks, Duane Allman & BB King. I don't like to play any song's the same way that the original artists played them. I am more of an improv guitar player, I like to put my own spin on songs and lay down new licks. I also love to write and compose my own music and I have written seven original songs. I play out as often & with as many bands as I can. Playing guitar and making music is my passion.
