Clockworks is a fantasy/drama some friends and I made for a local film competition. We had eight weeks to make a ten-minute film that included 1. a shot of a clock, 2. an over-the-shoulder shot, and 3. the line "I can't believe this is really happening!"

Written and filmed in about a day (except for a few pick-up shots) and edited in a couple weeks (although thereafter being stuck in post-production for a few more weeks due to audio-alignment problems), It Won't be the Last marks our first serious attempt at filmmaking since Avenged.

We like to think of this as a sort of bizarre abstract film, a kind of strange montage-type movie without a precise plot, but not necessarily without meaning scattered throughout.
This was partially inspired by the video in The Ring that people watched only to die seven days later.

Another lightsaber duel (featuring more lame dialog) from our unfinished film, Cobra 12. Because the movie was never completed, there are places throughout the duel where the people suddenly appear in a different area in the location because footage of other scenes was supposed to be placed there but wasn't due to the movie being in an unfinished state. We had also intended to add an original music score, but we abandoned the movie before we ever got around to it.

This is a suspense/drama/horror film submitted into Apple's 2007 Insomnia Film Festival. It was completed in less than 24 hours and included the following required elements:

1. Name; Robin Darjeeling.

2. Dream sequence.

3. Match Cut.

We didn't have time to render the grading but other than that we were able to get everything finished without difficulty.

A video of an air freshener exploding.

To achieve this effect I used stock footage created by Marco Von Moos for the main explosion, I made a bright, blurred and semi-transparent version of the explosion on top of the original one to add a glow effect. These effects were copied, flipped, mirrored and given angle-blur effects and masks of the seams in the table to create the explosion reflection. An optical effect was also added to further polish the effect. A background plate was shot so the air freshener could be removed and a black mark was digitally added to show the affects of the explosion.

The software I used to make this is called FXhome EffectsLab Pro.
