The speeches and statements of Malcolm X (El-Hajj El-Malik El-Shabazz) can be applied in many ways to the current situation of the Muslims. There are great lessons that can be taken from his statements and speeches and with this new series "Lessons From Malcolm X" we will explore and learn the lessons that can be taken and insha'Allah apply them in real life.

This is episode three and something I would like to call the "Fort Hood special". Because the message within this particular interview given by brother Malcolm X raheema'Allah is exactly the platform of those who refused to condemn to the attack at Fort Hood. Malcolm X explains through the example of the JFK assassination that events such as that and Fort Hood take place because of the climate of hate that America creates.

Along with this it can be taken from this interview that progress will not be made through any other agenda besides Islam. America has stabbed the Muslims deep in the back, wounding them severely. Muslims need to wake up and realize this knife has been embedded deep into their back and work in order to remove it. (less info)
