Scientific accuracy wasn't this movie's top priority, dude. The fact that it's got cavemen and dinosaurs living at the same time should have been a pretty big indication of that.

That's not the least bit fair, considering those movies had budgets much larger than this movie's. On top of that, the effects in those movies were revolutionary and were much better than basically ANYTHING from the time.

Of course crocs have higher bite force overall. They're larger. I never denied that. I said POUND-FOR-POUND gators have stronger jaws. As in a 200 pound gator will have a stronger bite than a 200 pound croc.

Jaguars don't hunt gators at all, since their ranges don't overlap. And killing a 6-foot caiman is completely different from taking on a 13-foot gator.
If the grasshopper hadn't died at the claws of my scorpion, it would have died under my foot or a rock. Lubbers are exceptionally obnoxious creatures because literally nothing eats them. They're a dead-end link in the food chain.
