What I have is more than a 1 in a million .... so for the most part, it isn't liklely to happen to ya. LOL It isn't contagious, it's our bodies being little warriors that can't see where the battle starts and ends, and essentially even comes onto homeland and attacks it's own people not knowing any better.

Hmm, well, Choreoathetosis itself is not a disease. It's a movement disorder which is a symptom of another disease. There are some disease (few) that have chorea as it's main feature, like Huntington's Disease, Leigh's Disease, or Wilson's Disease. And then some other diseases are more complicated. I've been told I have a paraneoplastic neurological disorder. It means my body has a cancer- for most it isn't seen right away (for awhile in some cases) and in trn the body knows it's there and tried to fight it. During that, it fights ouur brain and makes proteins that create symptoms like mine, or weakness (which I have) inability to walk right (which I have) and all that jazz. Good times, huh? LOL
