I don't have much sense about technicalities of music. To my understanding music is also a branch of Metaphysical Science and the aspect of it's spiritual power needs to be addressed by the researchers. Research and Knowledge (including all sciences) is our lost heritage, it's very appreciable when someone does efforts in this direction and disseminates knowledge to the masses.
