My best advice is to first; Get that tone. Use a very basic rock sound. Not too metal, more on the blues side, a little reverb is good enough. Also, you'll need a guitar that is similar to a Gibson LesPaul.
Second; Loosen up your picking hand. Don't worry about being perfect. Page could be pretty sloppy, but it added to his character.
Third; Find some live clips of Jimmy Page on Youtube and watch his hands close. The way he moved his body also adds to the overall feel and sound. People forget about that part. How you move can totally change your sound.
