My apologies to those who have made friendship requests. I'm really just not online enough to be able to honor them. But please know I appreciate that you've enjoyed my videos enough to ask. If you have a particular video you'd like me to see, feel free to drop me a line, and I'll try to watch it as soon as I'm able. There are a lot of you doing really great stuff out there!

As for my personal info, I'm in the midst of a wonderful relationship with the woman I've waited all my life for, and I'm tremendously in love! We've been together since August of '00.

My lady and I have been involved in the Society for Creative Anachronism, a Medieval reenactment group, since September of '01. Where can you learn more and find your local group? http://www.sca.org

I believe in celebrating the ways in which we are different as well as valuing what we have in common. Similarity can bring us together; diversity makes us strong. Being both alike and unalike is both beautiful and absolutely necessary.

Interests and Hobbies: SCA (including - but not limited to - dumbek playing for Middle Eastern dancers, Western court and country dance, archery, and juggling), motorcycle riding (when the bike is in repair), writing, running my Website, and just generally having great times with people I enjoy and respect.

Yes, I'm afraid facing a daily inbox full of homophobic and hateful commentary on an account that was really just my personal vlog was a bit too much for me to deal with. My current feeling is that this is a hostile world and *living* my life as an out queer person is difficult enough without broadcasting that to an increasingly hostile and threatening public. My biggest fear is that my real life and my youtube life will collide in the wrong sort of way and so I have taken down my videos (more than a hundred of them).

Thanks for your comment on the prop 8 and racism video. It's disturbing to me how much fracturing exists within the lgbtq community - along racial lines and also along dozens of other lines (like the fractures between the l,g,b,t and q and also within each one of those little letters)
