An old retired guy who likes to play with computers.
About Me:
I served 21 years in the air force where I flew some very fast airplanes (B-52, T-38, RF-101 and RF-4C). During my years in the air force I flew two combat tours in Vietnam and I also spent a lot of time with the army. I have a profound respect for all branches of the military and I love the USA.
Following my time in the air force I worked as a computer programmer for several different insurance companies.
I accept criticism of my videos but find it humorous that the HARSHEST critics are usually those who themselves have no videos on YouTube. I don't like the use of vulgarities, blatant racism, spam, gay bashing or bad-mouthing the United States in the comments directed at my videos and will delete such comments when I see them. If you don't like what I've done in a particular video please try to be civil and give me some constructive criticism to help me improve my work.
I have a degree in computer science and know how to use a lot of graphics and audio applications but I am not a professional video producer. I use an application called CrazyTalk to voice animate photos. For those videos in which there is more than one singer I animate each separately and combine the animations in Vegas Movie Studio. The morph sequences in my videos are done using Fanta Morph. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements to modify the pictures that I work with and Sony Audio Studio to modify the audio segments (mp3 or wav files).
None of these applications is an automated process. All require lots of practice and experi- mentation to learn how to use them. I have been playing with computers for more than twenty-five years and am still able to learn something new almost every day.
I've done a lot of videos using the songs written by my friend Jesse Goldberg who is a professional song writer working out of Nashville, Tennessee. I work with him to help him get some publicity. Watch my video "Barry Bonds Confesses to Steroid Use" to enjoy Jesse's humor. Please take a moment to check out Jesse's website at WWW.JesseGoldberg.Com
I've also used the songs of the "George W. Bush Singers" in some of my videos. Watch my video "George Bush Sings - Nucular (Nuculear)" to hear them perform. Their albums can be purchased at WWW.Amazon.Com.
A group called "The Capitol Steps" has given me permission to use their songs in my videos. Check out my video "Blagojevich - If I were a Rich Man" to hear a sample of their music. Please check out their songs at WWW.CapSteps.Com.
Johnny Seay has given me permission to use his songs. Take a moment to view my video, "God Bless America" to hear a sample of this great singer. His web-site is at WWW.JohnnySeay.Com.
Rick Stallworth who performs as "Rick" graciously gave his permission for me to use "To All the Girls I've Loved Before" in my video of the same name. His web-site is at WWW.RickStallworth.Net.
Lisa Koch gave me her permission to use her song "I'm a Middle-aged Woman" in my video of the same name. Lisa's web-site is at WWW.HeyLisa.Com.
