If you have a cat, I'm sure you can relate, lol. I originally wrote the song because I didn't want to do a simple talking blog about my Sparta's little biting problem and I also wanted to show my friends back home in Turlock what my new place in Thousand Oaks looks like.. BTW, trying to get a cat to perform for a music video... nearly impossible! lol Thanks for watching : )

This may happen if you let the guinea pigs loose on a Christmas tree... Next day there was nothing left but some small peices of wood.

The tree in the video is a Scandinavian spruce (picea abies) and it's not poisonous. There are other species of evergreens that are poisonous, like for exemple silver spruce. Don't give any branches to your guinea-pigs, if you aren't sure what they are!

Even the spruce in the video contains etheric oils which could be harmful in large quantities. Some of the oils evaporate if you keep the brances a few day's before giving them to the piggies.

Yes, intelligence matters! Even among guinea-pigs! This video is about my niece's pet, called Olga da Polga, that appears to be smarter than most guina-pigs. Stealing the bowl with dinkel wheat (spelt) right under the noses of the others is one of her favourite tricks.

My niece thought our guinea-pigs to sit on there hind legs. I know it's not much of a trick actually, but they are just so cute when they do it that I had to tube it.

Sorry about the bad film quality, but she really is faster than both me and my camera. Luckily, Vera has the habit of turning towards me and sort of asking for permission before she dashes off. That would be the moment to say "NO" if I wanted her to stay put...

My Irish Setter, Vera, showing you around a small desert islet in the archipelago around Hanko, Finland. Just some memories from the summer...

The shots were taken (with my lousy camera) on a windy day in late August 2007. The green stuff, that the woman is picking and Vera is eating, is wild chive (= ruohosipuli, gräslök, schnittlauch).

The song is an old classic, the waltz of Hanko (Hangövalsen) from 1931.
