SECOND SEASON INFO:
Alright, sorry for not being here in so long, but I haven't really had access to a computer in about....forever. Anyway, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu has begun re-airing in Japan. They're adding 14 new episodes to the show, which will air chronologically along with the old episodes, and thus won't all come out at once. Since Dattebayo has picked this up, and they get pissy about people uploading their content to YouTube, I'm just going to link to their site. They're only going to sub the "new" episodes, so they will not be subbing a new episode every week.

As far as I know, the Suzumiya Haruhi light novels can currently only be found in Japanese, and have not been officially translated into any other language. So if you want to read the Suzumiya Haruhi light novels, but can't read Japanese, I've linked to an English fan translation of them below.

I have it right here :P and the others are coming according to wikipedia. The reason I'm telling you this is because your page says that you don't know if there are any light novels in english.
