I am a strong atheist who likes to write, especially poetry. I hope to post some of my poetry in future videos. I enjoy the camaraderie and enthusiasm of the atheist community on youtube. So much talent, so much sense! For years I felt I was alone in my non-belief, surrounded by brainwashed drones--thanks to youtube I have escaped into a community that thinks like I do.

Interests and Hobbies: chess, writing, women's rights in third world countries, animals especially snakes, the environment, the internet and computers, travel, science, evolution, reading--much of it non-fiction
Movies and Shows: Monty Python, other English comedy shows, Monk, Psych, any documentary-- especially on nature, Amadeus is my favorite movie. I also like foreign movies, sci-fi, and grand historical extravaganzas such as Les Miserables
Music: classical music, opera, folk music from the 70's, (btw there are some youtube videos I skip watching because the music is so jarring, noisy or just plain unneeded)
Books: The End of Faith, The God Delusion, the essays of Robert Ingersoll among many others, historical biographies--such as "Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage" by Alfred Lansing. But the best book I read this year was Zsolt de Harsanyi's "The Star Gazer" on the life of Galileo Galilei.
