Paradise is beyond imagination
and is something "revealed,"
not "expected." It will come
when you least expect it.
I am not a professional
spiritual healer but it
is something that happens
spontaneously here and
there for some reason
beyond me to fully
understand.
A vision of Caesar arose
early in March of 2006, a real
one. I saw Roman marble pillars
around me of bloodish red color
but of beautiful design. There
was a lot of a deep blood red
color in this vision. My physical
body even felt different as though
I were in a different physical body
and not my own. If I were to allow
myself to get lost in associated
states of imagination, I can
speculate that somehow I astral
traveled and made contact with
Julius Caesar and this assisted
in some kind of healing process.
And even if this was actually
the case, how can I prove it to
you? This is an example of real
danger because it would be a
dangerous thing for me to try
to do so which is to say that
vanity and delusions of
self-grandeur must be
sacrificed a little at
a time at each and every
step of the way of a
real healing.
There was the experience
for me of relief from the
usual chronic muscular
tensions in the groin
area associated with
neurotic impulses which
are always and ever present
as well as in the chest
muscles around the heart
area. These aches and
pains were felt as knife
wounds and the vision came
to me of blood flowing out
of these wounds down my body
and feeling a tremendous
emotional breath of
freedom. The vision was
so intense that I could
actually "see",
clairvoyantly, deep red
blood flowing out of my
body from these wounds.
One must kill out desire,
to discover the Inner Heart.
There was another vision that
came later in the same day in
which I entered into that very
rare state of consciousness of
Heaven, or Paradise. I realized
while in the state of Paradise
that I was successful in the
attainment of a definite plan
that I carried out earlier in
the day. In other words, the
results of what was attained
was as treasure laid up in
Heaven.
Positive emotions can be rooted
in pain and so transformation of
physical or psychological suffering
by way of suffering of the "godly
sort" can result in a positive
emotion and which can even be
experienced as a sort of
"special reward" but it is
more precise to consider it
as a "measure" along a line
of progression from which
one does not expect
absolute results.
Positive emotions are of a higher
materiality and so this finer
material can have a healing
influence precipitating to
the physical giving rise to
real understanding about
what is "spiritual
healing ability."
Negative states of despair,
hopelessness, self-pity,
depression, etc.
are involuntary
reactions
associated
with physical
pain.
SPIRITUAL HEALING
It is a real question
if people know what they
are saying when they use
the word "spiritual." It
has a technical meaning in
the Gospels and is what belongs
to the true self, to Real "I"
for us. St Paul used it
technically in the sense
of "spiritual gifts"--
positive emotions
which are spiritual
gifts are a part of
our beingness, that
is, of what is spiritual
in us. We tend to think of
what is spiritual in worldly
terms as having wilful psychic
force over others but, in actual
fact, they have nothing to do with
"psychic energy" in this sense.
4 Now there are diversities
of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of
administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of
operations, but it is the same
God which worketh all in all.
7 But the manifestation
of the Spirit is given to
every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the
Spirit the word of wisdom; to
another the word of knowledge
by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same
Spirit; to another the GIFTS OF
HEALING by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of
miracles; to another prophecy;
to another discerning of spirits;
to another divers kinds of tongues;
to another the interpretation of
tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one
and the selfsame Spirit, dividing
to every man severally as he will.

What Gurdjieff called "power of suggestion"
which he wrote in the Third Series:
"I must also mention that when
I took the oath not to apply in
life this inherency of mine, I
made a reservation that my oath
should not concern THE APPLICATION
OF IT FOR SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES.
"For instance, I was very much
interested then, and even now
my interest has not entirely
vanished, in increasing the
visibility of distant cosmic
centers many thousand times
through the use of a medium,
AND IN THE CURE OF CANCER BY
THE POWER OF SUGGESTION."
