Eugene Herrera (born August 5, 1992) better known as his stage name Gene, is a Mexican-American Rapper and Producer from New York. Born & Raised in East Harlem, Gene developed an interest in Hip-Hop at a young age. At the age of 15 he would record and produce song in his bedroom. Now with his Debut mixtape titled "The Interview" was release August 5, 2011, a mixtape about a boy who is trying to get hired for a spot in the music world is struggling because people doubt him and don't realize he has true talent. The Mixtape contains great songs such as "Over Ther Rainbow" "Can't Wait Longer" and "Ridiculous". Gene is still not signed to any label,but even without the label, Gene hopes that one day all his work will pay off and someday he will shine with the rest of them.
