CASE

The Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship is a research and education center dedicated to promoting the entrepreneurial pursuit of social impact through the thoughtful adaptation of business expertise. Founded by Professor Greg Dees, regarded as the "father of social entrepreneurship," CASE provides individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively address social needs around the world.

Since the center was founded, student initiative has been integral to its growth and success. Students spearhead new activities, identify and invite guest speakers to campus, provide input on course and program development, engage in the community, interact with prospective students, and help develop networks of students and alumni interested in using their business skills for social purposes.

EDGE

The Center for Energy, Development, and the Global Environment prepares students and businesses to meet the global demand for energy, resources, and improved quality of life. Fuqua faculty support the center's efforts through academic research on energy, development and environmental sustainability, and topics in economics, finance, marketing, decision sciences, and other disciplines. EDGE works to contribute to the body of research among both academics and practitioners, and to highlight Duke research that's relevant for business leaders.

CTEM

Through hands-on, interdisciplinary initiatives, including live cases, industry immersions and seminars, the Center for Technology, Entertainment and Media harnesses the insights of industry leaders, academic thought leaders, engaged students and alumni. The center bridges Fuqua's path-breaking research and academic theory with industry practices and market dynamics.
