Some quick facts about Thomas Paine;
- English and only came to America in 1774
-heavily influenced by other cultures in his political beliefs, such as the Iroquois
- Served in French govnt following the French Revolution, without speaking the national language
- Supported government funded projects such as free public education and a minimum wage. 1975 wrote "Agrarian Justice" which proposed a national fund "out of which there shall be paid to every person" as compensation for what he saw as " the loss of his or her natural inheritance" from land ownership.
- Was a staunch Deist that was quoted to say "All national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit." and compared Christianity to ancient religions that worshiped the sun.

You clearly know nothing of this man's work and are using his legend as a cloak to shroud your own ignorant agenda.
