On bass player Piter and drummer Majk initiative band Fulcrum came into being in summer 2005. After playing in many different bands finally it was supposed to be the band that would give us real opportunities to create music in which we would be able to develop our skills.

After working together on rhythmical section and deciding on the direction where our music should aim at, we started looking for a guitar player. We organized many auditions, had some time standstill because of problems with our rehearsal room, in the end we found the proper person.

During auditions we wanted to check if the musician knew his instrument so well that he was able to play some improvised music. We saw many astonished faces after asking: "and now we gonna improvise!" :)

And there Andrzej joined the band. We have always wanted our music to be open to different changes, additional sounds and accents in its structure. So we managed to create our own unique style, very heavy, technical death/grind with some elements of jazz, drum'n'bass and funk.

December 2005 joined us vocalist Paweł who was known for being a lead singer in Dissektion Room. Very quickly he adapted himself to Fulcrum's style.

After a few performances we thought that an additional guitarist would be very useful in order to take full advantage of death/grind music potential. Again, after many auditions where our requirements were very high eventually we found the musician we needed. In June 2007 Bartek joined our band. He learned very quickly what we had done so far and since then our band consists of 5 musicians.

Currently we are after the recording of the first MCD "Cyclosporine". There are eight tracks on the MCD what makes almost 15 minutes of music.

Fulcrum gained its first big success winning GO Rock 2007 FESTIVAL in Stalowa Wola. Now we are working on new music and we try to concentrate on further concerts.
