"Not as awesome as driving around Los Angeles, but yeah, CA 87 is definitely a nice and modern freeway. :-)"

"Ahhh, yes. In countries that drive on the right, the left lane is reserved for passing (although in realistic terms, it's the fast lane)."

Nice videos I find interstates interesting myself. Watching the LA videos with the older sections remind me a lot of Detroit's older sections of freeway. In fact there is often arguing over who had the first freeway either LA or Detroit with the Davison (M-8) Though it was completely rebuilt 10 years ago. Detroit has an extensive interstate system and I would say that LA and Detroit are very similar in their freeway infrastructure. There is a aesthetic charm in the older freeway designs you often dont see in more modern sections. If your interested in any Detroit area freeway history or info send me a message. Keep up the good work I always like to see other cities freeways.

When you film Milwaukee make your way up to Minneapolis. we have some pretty nice freeways. not alot of stacks though

I always wonder if either you or Jim will someday film Milwaukee, now that city has a decent interstate system begging to be filmed(with the Marquette Interchange, I-794, and the Hoan Bridge being among the better highlights). Hope 'Turkey Day' went very well for you, and take care!

Loving your new California videos as well, keep them going.

Your videos are great and something totally new. Your coverage of the bay area really brings back memories. Make sure you get them all! I'd hate to think of how much you have to pay for gas though! By the way, by how much do you increase the speed of your videos?

I just want to say that I like the way you put up annotations in your freeway videos, just to give viewers information about the freeway you're driving on.

Bren,

What software do you use to do the videos, speed them up and ad the comments. I just got a 1080p camcorder and would love to do this, looks like fun.
