"The Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe expressed her deepest sorrow due to the death of Michael Jackson. She said that she liked his music and unique style very much and the fact that he didn't care what anybody said about him. Haifa wished that people will let him rest in peace, adding that she doesn't care if he's a Muslim or not. As for the Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram, she considers that his death is a great loss to entertainment business especially since he's just 50 years old and he had much more to present to his audience. Nancy said that all his songs are beautiful, but the more beautiful is his unique dancing style."

July 1, 2009: Haifa wants to have children with her new husband:
"The Lebanese star Haifa Wehbe said in a conference lately that she planned to have babies with her husband, the Egyptian businessman Ahmed Abou Hashima, in the near future since the filming of her fawazir was postponed which grants her more time to enlarge her family. Haifa added that her album dedicated to children is ready and would release it along with giving birth to her baby although she didnt assure if shes pregnant or not."

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe's lawyer Nabeeh El Wahish has stated that he has Wehbe's permission to file for the custody of her daughter Zainab.

Wehbe's daughter has been living with her father ever since her parents got a divorce ten years ago. Both daughter and father are currently living in Kuwait.

According to Al Bayan daily, Wehbe's lawyer states that his client is entitled to at least see her daughter every once in a while. Wehbe's ex-husband has denied her even this right due to the type of career that Haifa has acquired.

Haifa's 'Muhajaba' (wears the Muslim head cover) daughter is almost 17 years old. Al Wahish will file the lawsuit as soon as he has the authority to do so. He even revealed that he will not charge the singer anything for this lawsuit and will do it "for humane reasons"...

Israel's war crimes in Gaza:
~ Israel killed over 400 children in Gaza.
~ Israel deliberately attacked the United Nations' headquarters and school in Gaza -- even though Israel had been warned to avoid hitting UN facilities.
~ Israel used shells with white phosphorous to destroy UN humanitarian supplies.
~ Forty civilians were killed at the UN school. Hamas wasn't in the UN buildings. Israel's attack was a war crime.

On January 15, 2009, Israel attacked the UN headquarters in Gaza, destroying a huge amount of humanitarian supplies meant for the desperate people of Gaza:

"Israeli artillery shells struck the U.N. headquarters, setting a food warehouse ablaze and drawing a sharp rebuke from the visiting U.N. chief who called it an "outrage." The attack triggered a raging fire that engulfed a warehouse and destroyed thousands of pounds of food and other aid intended for Gaza's beleaguered citizens.
The U.N. compound was struck about a half-dozen times over a roughly two-hour period while more than 700 civilians were sheltering there.
Terrified residents huddled in shelters and stairwells, or scooped up toddlers and fled on foot. After nightfall, shells landed near Gaza City's Quds Hospital, where many families had sought refuge, and the building caught fire, forcing staff to evacuate hundreds of people.
The destruction added to what aid groups say is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza."

Israel killed and wounded hundreds of civilians in Gaza.
Rockets were fired into Israel after Israel blockaded and starved Gaza. Israel provoked the rocket attacks by squeezing and imprisoning Gaza for years. Israel could probably have gotten Hamas to stop firing rockets in exchange for a lifting of Israel's crippling blockade of Gaza. Instead, Israel killed hundreds of civilians.
