	Flintknappingtips (1 year ago) I've used quartzsite before, but haven't quartz or geode type rocks. Those are usually really hard. General rule is that the hardest of hammerstones work well to take 'test flakes' on chunks of material that are tough to get into, but are very harsh if bifacial thinning is what they're used for. They have a habit of causing shattering or initiating undulating, deep flakes. Thanks for the comment!
